One of her agents could have rejected the role for her, but without her knowledge. Glen Larson initially selected her for the role of Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. The actress initially refused the part since the character did not seem to be strong enough. Glen was able to write an even stronger character with Sheba. She was able to accept the Living Legend script after reading the first 25 pages. The show lasted for just one season. The actress was in Joyride, a 1977 movie with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) in addition to alongside Robert Carradine. In 1987 she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
