Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is a well-established Canadian actor. Cook is best known for her performance as Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she performs the role of a Supervisory Agency. The show has been running since, and in 2017 the show is currently on its 13th Season. Cook is a native of Ontario, born in Oshawa located in Canada's Ontario province and showed early signs of desire to act. Her first acting experience came by playing a character in the TV show Goosebumps. In 1999 she made her first appearance on the film The Virgin Suicides. The film, however, was unsuccessful. In the following year, she began appearing as a character in the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground in which she was one of the principal roles.
